However, it seems the word is spreading.
The stunning natural rock pool with beach bath at the base of a cliff face has been listed among a “bucket list” of eight of the world’s best pools according to the Yahoo Travel Inspirations website.
Yahoo’s Stephanie Zheng writes:
“Bermagui’s famous Blue Pool is one of Sapphire Coast’s most famous attraction. Located off Pacific Drive at the base of a dramatic rocky cliff face, the natural rock pool is filled with turquoise ocean water and when sunset comes, the place takes on an ethereal look.”
Bermagui is ranked number six on the list, behind other glorious swimming holes in SIngapore, Italy and India. Bondi’s Iceberg baths claimed top spot, but we reckon Bermagui outshines the lot.
