Last year, 128 players teed-off in a four ball Ambrose event for both men, mixed and ladies teams, and the event appears to be bigger again this year, with 32 teams already locked in, making it fully booked.
This year’s event will be held on Friday, May 5, with a shotgun start at 8am.
While this annual event is primarily an opportunity for the Marine Rescue volunteers to meet the unit’s supporters in friendly contest, it has a serious side.
Proceeds from the day go to the ongoing cost of running one of NSW’s most modern ocean Search and Rescue units 24/7 every day of the year.
All monies raised go directly towards the cost of maintaining the Ulladulla vessels and base radio station in peak operational condition.
