The talk was attended by 70 people, raised $1000 and focused on how to incorporate Buddhist teachings into daily life to help deal with depression and anxiety, topics that often come to head with end of life care.
We were inspired by the community.
- Ben Adcock
“In Buddhism it is highly encouraged to be there and support your loved ones through the dying process,” Ben said. “This purpose built facility will give locals the opportunity to do just that, we see that it will become such a meaningful asset to the local community for many years into the future. We are grateful to be able to contribute in some small way and thank all those who turned out on the night to also show their support.”
