10 Mar 10 | SATURDAY NIGHT Fever returns this Saturday at Mollymook Oval when last year's Group Seven first grade semi-finalists Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs take on leading Manly junior club Berowra Wallabies in the first of a three-series of Saturday night rugby league trials starting from 5pm under floodlights.
Three represent club at Country Championships

Big shave this Friday
10 Mar 10 | THERE'S expected to be a big crowd at the Milton-Ulladulla Ex-Servo's on Saturday night as local residents shave and colour their heads to help raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. The club is hoping to raise at least $20,000 this year from its World's Greatest Shave night and local residents are being urged to throw their support behind those people taking part.
Car a boost to new nursing service
10 Mar 10 | THE recently launched Neurological Specialist Nursing pilot project received a boost last week from the Ulladulla and Districts Community Bank (Bendigo Bank). The local branch donated a car to be used by nurse Marilia Pereira to assist Parkinson’s sufferers.
Region a hit with bankers
10 Mar 10 | BANKING brains filled the Ulladulla Civic Centre last week for the 2010 Bendigo Bank NSW/ACT conference. A first for Ulladulla, nearly 200 people attended the two day conference, enjoying the chance to catch up with delegates from other branches both socially and professionally.
Jeremiah's death shocks everyone
10 Mar 10 | THE death of eight-year-old Jeremiah Del Tufo last Friday has shocked the Milton-Ulladulla community. Jeremiah last week publicly thanked his family and school for helping him during seven months of intense medical treatment, including ground breaking stem cell therapy, to rid him of 12 rare tumours in his spine.
Kevin a man of many loves
10 Mar 10 | KEVIN Duffy had many loves - the family farm, country music, Fords, Manly Fooball Cub and working in the bush. But his greatest loves were his family and friends. Mr Duffy, 63, was tragically killed on Thursday, March 4 after being struck by a falling limb while working on his family property, Mimosa Park, at Milton.
Institute up and running
10 Mar 10 | THE new Institute of Design Ulladulla (IDU) is up and running. An orientation day for students was held at the Deering Street college last Thursday and classes commenced on Monday.
Highway loses out to 'low priority' projects
10 Mar 10 | MEMBER for Gilmore Joanna Gash is using Ulladulla's 'path to nowhere' as a perfect example of the Federal Government's economic mismanagement. The path alongside the Princes Highway in South Ulladulla was constructed by Shoalhaven City Council using Federal Government economic stimulus funding but ends at Racecourse Creek.

10 Mar 10 | THE Milton Show committee will be celebrating another successful show this week with attendance at a record high. Milton Show secretary told the Times yesterday that the 2009 show had set a record level for attendance but that the 2010 show had managed to top that again. “It all went very well,” Mick said.

They say puregolf2010 was born out of a desire to challenge themselves - but they are obviously having plenty of fun along the way.
Nathan Bell's key wicket
03 Mar 10 | ULLADULLA United spinner, Nathan Bell had to work for his first success in the just completed SDCA first grade round. However his dismissal of North Nowra-Cambewarra's top scorer, Nick McDonald was a significant one in his career. It was his 100th wicket with the club in a career that started in 2001-02 but there has been a three-year break along the way.
Wallaby tales for lunch
03 Mar 10 | FORMER Former Wallaby, Warwick Waugh, entertained a large crowd at Mollymook Surf Club last Friday. The event was a season launch for the Milton Platypi Rugby Club. President Grant Brodie welcomed the capacity crowd with the news that The Star Hotel in Milton had come on board as the club's major sponsor.

03 Mar 10 | TRIPLE 888's Jamie Whincup secured his fourth win from as many starts in this year's V8 Supercar Championship Series with a dominant display in both 200km races of the Gulf Air Desert 400 in Bahrain.

03 Mar 10 | PLACES like Cardiff, Caerphilly, Risca, Ystradgniais and Abergavenny might not immediately come to mind to most Australians but for lanky Luke Young, the Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs' newest recruit, these were areas of combat during his weekly rounds of football as a Celtic Crusader contract player two seasons ago before making an impressive debut in the English Super League.
