Shoalhaven City Council general manager Russ Pigg announced that the next Policy Resources and Reserves Committee meeting will be held at Ulladulla on Tuesday, February 14.
The decision to hold the meeting was only made late last Tuesday, February 7, after the Times print edition went to press.
“This is in response to council’s wishes to hold meetings closer to the community when significant issues are on the agenda.”
“Next Tuesday’s agenda includes the important issues of the next steps with the Ulladulla Civic Centre redevelopment proposal and also the Lake Conjola Entrance Management Plan”, Mr Pigg said.
“Both of these issues are critical for the local communities in the southern area of our city and it means that the committee meeting will be more accessible.
"I expect a large public audience will attend to hear councillors debate these important issues” Mr Pigg said.
“The communities in the southern area will also have an opportunity to hear councillors debate the December quarterly reports on our budget and delivery program and the report on proposed changes to the Foreshore Reserves Policy.”
The Policy Resources and Reserves Committee meeting will be held at the Ulladulla Civic Centre commencing at 4pm on Tuesday, February 14.
