NEW Zealand golfers Jamie Patton and Michael Goldstein are living the dream.
They have committed to playing a round of golf every day this year, somewhere around the world.
They say puregolf2010 was born out of a desire to challenge themselves - but they are obviously having plenty of fun along the way.
They are also raising money for The First Tee New Zealand, a golfing organisation for New Zealand Youth.
Jamie and Michael have already played a number of courses in New Zealand and Australia but will also be heading to the United States, the UK, northern Europe and parts of Asia.
Not surprisingly, the trip brought them to one of the South Coast's best courses, Hilltop, on Saturday after playing in Nowra the day before.
They say the local mozzies quickly started feasting on their "fresh Kiwi blood" until a couple of school teachers came to their assistant with a can of insect repellant.
Michael described Hilltop as a "long and testing course" carved out of gum trees.
After having already played a few short courses in Australia he also described Hilltop as "refreshingly long".
Blogging on the puregolf2010 website after the game, he said he was "very much in the swing of golf now and can't imagine NOT playing golf for a day."
The boys also played Narooma before heading further south to Lakes Entrance, Victoria.
