THE AFL Development Team will be commencing AFL Community Auskick in Ulladulla next Monday, November 2.
This will take place at Lighthouse Oval in Ulladulla between 4pm and 5.15pm, then every Monday from then on.
Ulladulla AFL Community Auskick is especially targeting the children who have never experienced AFL Auskick before.
AFL Auskick is for boys and girls between four and 12 years old, no matter their skill and ability.
The program is based on skill learning, coordination, people interaction and character building principals.
AFL Development Officer Grant Romeril will be running the sessions, ensuring that all participants have fun and take part in all activities.
This weekly AFL Auskick program will involve a skills and fun games segment, then a modified AFL game for those keen to try.
All AFL Auskick games are modified to enhance participation and decrease contact between the children.
Ulladulla AFL Community Auskick will run for six weeks, so this is the perfect opportunity for parents to allow their child to participate in a child and parent friendly sporting program.
It also gives the parents the chance to experience AFL Auskick at a local level with no travel involved, just fun and participation for their child in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
If you would like to join Ulladulla AFL Community Auskick just come down to Lighthouse Oval next Monday afternoon around 4pm, fill out a registration form and off you go.
The cost of the six week program including the AFL Auskick football bag which includes football, diary, bag or backpack, pencil set, CD rom game, insurance and much more is $35.00.
