With Kiama and Berry now both on 10 points and two points clear of the second-placed Dogs who have to face the dangerous Kiama this Sunday at Kiama Showground with sparks expected from both sides as both attempt to establish a firm position in the top order.

In front of a large crowd of cricketers, supporters and partners, Bell graciously thanked his team mates and club officials for the terrific season the Seagulls had this season in first grade under his command and the outstanding contribution all club players had for the First Grade side.

The Sharks are a strong side but lacked both the physical commitment up front and the necessary hand skills out wide to counteract a swarming and enthusiastic Platypi side with the home team coming away with a bonus point win in a 32-7 thumping.

Swimming amongst a field of more than 1000 competitors, the two women were unaware of all the hype surrounding the sighting of a large shark near the swimmers until they finished the race and were approached by media outlets.
