 Great day for Pointscore

Great day for Pointscore

06 May, 2009 12:30 PM
The May pointscore was held at Mollymook Beach last Sunday.

A magic sunny day with light winds and two foot surf, but very contestable.

The surf continued to get better all day.

Sitting on the grass enjoying the barbecue breakfast, it was a great venue for a competition.

Everyone commented how good a day it was.

Our next pointscore will be held on June 7, meeting at Rennies Beach at 7.30am.

There will be a meeting of all members on Friday night June 5 at Mollymook Surf Club at 6.30pm. All members must attend.

A special thanks to all those who helped out on the day and to Aaron McKenzie for 1700 photos of the competition.

There are some fantastic sequence shots of nearly everyone who surfed.

Everyone was stoked to see the book he has made from our April point score at Rennies. Excellent. See you next month.

Ulladulla Boardriders' members Elliot Marshall and Bart Smith did well at the Red Bluff Classic, held on the weekend of May 2 and 3, at Lakes Entrance in Victoria. Elliot came First in the 18s and received $1000 worth of prizes including a Travel Voucher for $500. Bart Smith came third in the 18s and fourth in the Opens. The comp featured perfect autumn weather with small but contestable waves.
