Last Sunday morning was glorious, both cool and sunny, absolutely perfect for a tough 16km hit-out. About a dozen RATS met in Milton and headed towards Mollymook, via Windward Way, the golf ball on a stick residential estate and Ocean Street. After a brief pause for a drink, most of the group headed to Narrawallee Inlet, via Bannister Head and eventually, back to Milton through Frogs Holla. A very scenic, but hilly run.

A few cut off earlier, at various points, for different reasons, but all felt they had earned their delicious hot coffee afterwards, at Duke and Co.
RATS in the Field - April 16 - Cairns parkrun:
Adrian Le, 10 years old, ran his first parkrun (5km), clocking in at 31.38, in tough, hot and humid conditions, while on holidays in Cairns. He has been listening to Steven Grant (one of our senior Ulladulla RATS) who has been advising his students to train for the school cross-country during the school holidays. Adrian had never run more than 2km before in his life. However, as he sensed it was a race, he just kept on running. Proud dad, Kevin Le, clocked in at 22.24 - not too shabby either.
Local Running - Next Sunday - April 23:
For those not going to Bright, please meet near the corner of Porters Creek Dam Road and the Princes Highway, next Sunday, at 6.30am. Turn left off the highway and turn right within 100 metres, into a lay by area, suitable for parking vehicles. The run will go out to the natural rock shelf lookout, past the Mount Bushwalker car park and also to the dam, as a number of runners have a minimum of 90 minutes on their programs. Shorter versions are always available.
The Ulladulla RATS welcome guests, visitors and potential new members to join them, for any of their runs. All standards catered for. There is no initial fee, just go along and join in. You are not obliged to run the full distance and can turn back at any stage. For further information: ring or text Lauri on 0438 44 55 73.
