Supported by the Shoalhaven Council, the NSW Senior PGA Championship highlights a strong run of events along the South Coast of NSW which stretches from St Georges Basin through to Bermagui.
“We are delighted that the Shoalhaven is once again hosting the NSW Senior PGA Championship at Mollymook Golf Club,” Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley said.
“We look forward to welcoming the visitors to our City and showcasing our Shoalhaven hospitality and the Mollymook Milton region.”
Rated number 81 on the Golf Australia Magazine Pubic Access Course Top 100, the Mollymook Hilltop course will provide amateurs and professionals alike with a strong challenge emphasised by considerable elevation changes and fast greens.
Senior state manager with the PGA of Australia David Barker was excited at the tournaments prospects.
“This year’s event is shaping up as one of the strongest ever and should create considerable interest in the region,” Barker said.
“I can’t think of another sport where everyday people get the opportunity to play alongside professional athletes and legends of our sport under tournament conditions.”
Spectators are welcome to attend with tee times commencing from 7am Friday and Saturday.
