The five local ladies vying for the title of Milton Showgirl 2013 have been announced.
With the judging and awards day less than two weeks away, organisers are excited to introduce the entrants.
Taking on the showgirl challenge for the 2013 title are Rebecca Tibbles, Stephanie Sayers, Dannielle Moore, Leigha Ingold and Olivia Desira.
Rebecca is sponsored by Ulladulla Creative Images and is currently studying a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies where she is majoring in Marketing Communication and Advertising.
Sponsored by Ted’s Butchery in Milton, Stephanie is also a student, studying a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in English Literature at the university of Wollongong.
Danielle is sponsored by Raine and Horne Mollymook Milton and is a child care worker at Angels Early Education and Care Centre in Ulladulla.
Sponsored by the Milton CWA is Leigha, who currently works as an Undergraduate Civil Engineer with Roads and Maritime Services NSW.
Olivia is sponsored by Priceline Pharmacy Ulladulla and is busy completing a traineeship in Certificate III in Community and Pharmacy.
Olivia also works at the Dunn Lewis Centre as the birthday party host and is a dance teacher for Kicks Dance Force.
The girsl will all meet with the judges for a special luncheon on Saturday, December 1, followed by a fun-filled presentation dinner at the ExServos.
With the Regional Showgirl event falling before the Milton Show this year, organisers have decided to announce the winner of the Milton Showgirl 2013 title at Saturday’s dinner.
This will give the winner several weeks to prepare for regional.
Ticket to the Milton Showgirl dinner on Saturday, December 1, are available.
Organisers are calling on the community to support the girls by coming along to the annual event and asking that they get their ticket for the dinner as soon as they can.
Tickets for the dinner are $45 each and are available at Milton Florist.
The night includes a delicious dinner and live entertainment along with the formal presentation of the entrants and winner.
