It costs $5 each week to play, as well as $31 to become a Junior Club Member for the financial year.
This is very important for insurance reasons and also allows all junior players to use the courts during the day for free, with another junior member (5-18 years old) or a parent, to encourage them to practice, providing there isn’t anyone wanting to use the courts, that is paying to play.
Junior members are also given a free Christmas Party at the end of the year.
If you need a fill-in please organize someone to play ASAP.
If you need help phone Kerrie.
The bye team is there so that there is always someone free who can help out.
Please remember to make yourself available to play for others when they need a reserve, when you need someone you would expect them to play for you.
The more match play you get, the better, practise makes perfect.
In our junior comp we have 4 divisions, so there is room for all abilities of player. You must be able to have a small rally and serve 50% of balls into the court to play in the comp. We are always looking for more fill-ins, so if you want to have a go and can’t commit to playing every week, why not think about being a reserve?
Keep working hard on your game practising whenever you can, doing your lessons and enjoying your tennis.
Remember as a junior member, you can play for free as often as you like, with another junior member or a parent whenever there is a free court available.
There are 12 courts, so use them. Anyone interested in being a reserve should phone ASAP to be included. Anyone with any junior enquiries should phone Kerrie on 4455 5064.
Harris Scarfe Monday Ladies Comp
We now have 3 divisions in the comp with Division 1 and 2 having 7 teams and division 3 having 5 teams, allowing for a little more movement between the divisions to strengthen the play.
There is a place for all abilities of player.
