The best score of the week for the men was Grant Smith, with 40 points to win B Grade on Thursday and, Debbsy Jackson topped the ladies, with 27 points.
The Easter weekend should be busy on both golf courses, let’s hope the rain stays away and the visitors can enjoy some good golf.
The newly renovated Hilltop Pro Shop is now up and running and the feedback from everyone has been great. A big thank you to all the members who helped out with the renovation work and it certainly is a huge improvement.
To Barry, hope you’re having a great time at the Masters in Augusta and, with Bowditch making the cut, it should be a good weekend, we’ll be looking out for you in your Mollymook shirt on the TV.

Hilltop Ladies - 4BBB Knockout Qualifying Rd - 60 starters

Another good field of 60 players spent fighting the mozzies.
Our Division 2 and 3 pennant teams travelled to Catalina on Friday to play Narooma. The star of the day was Janice Henney, for division 3, winning 9/8, great work. This team had a 3/2 win, which puts them in equal second spot.
Div 2 had a narrow loss 2/3 and they are fourth on the ladder and Div 1 had a bye but, unfortunately, we are at the bottom of the field but it is not over yet.
Please note some of our coming events - Wednesday, May 7 we are doing a sausage sizzle for the Vets and, a mixed event on our ladies day, May 20. On both these days the profits will be going to The Friends of Hilltop, to further improve the course; on Friday, May 9, is Coastal Patrol Day, with an 8am shotgun start, open to both men and ladies and a nine hole comp is still on each Sunday, 2pm at Beachside, as well as the Beginners Group.
Deborah Huish was the winner on April 6, with 18pts. Congratulations to beginner Anne Maree Kitchener, who played in the Tuesday Beachside Ladies comp and won her division.

The second Ambrose event of the year resulted in a clear win for Danny Fleming and Gary Logan with a score of 27.8, while Bruce Anderson and Paul Apter were the runners up on 30.2.
