The Shoalhaven Through My Lens amateur photographic competition that is being conducted for the 2015 Shoalhaven Rotary Raffle Calendar finishes on April 30, and amateur photographers from all over the Shoalhaven and beyond are encouraged to submit their photographs.
Prizes are being offered for the top 13 winning images.
Project coordinator Julie Ludlow said she would welcome further entrants from budding photographers ahead of the final judging in mid-May, ahead of the 13 winners being announced at the end of May.
Details of the competition can be found by logging into www.facebookpage/shoalhaventhroughmylens along with the photographic finalists for January, February and March.
Shoalhaven business houses are enthusiastically supporting the project by taking out advertisements in this unique calendar that will raise money for many local charities and not for profit service organisations.
Local charities expected to receive money from the calendar project include Ulladulla Marine Rescue, Jindelara’s respite house, Milton Ulladulla Hospital’s auxiliary and its fundraising for a renal unit, and Budawang School
Any Shoalhaven business that would like to support the community by taking out an advertisement in the calendar should contact a member of the Rotary Clubs of Nowra, Sussex Inlet or Milton/Ulladulla or Julie Ludlow, project coordinator on email coorrotarycalendar@hotmail.com .
