Barack Obama under fire over wisdom of anti-stupidity foreign policy

It was what passes for good foreign policy news for the White House these days. On Thursday afternoon President Barack Obama addressed the nation from Martha’s Vineyard, near Boston, to say that American air strikes appeared to have broken the militant siege of Yazidi civilians on Mount Sinjar in northern Iraq.
