Ulladulla's Adam Winnell had not raced for a few months and had only done limited practice due to work commitments but still managed to get some great results in the Over 35's Seniors All Powers aboard his Honda 450 with a fourth, second and fourth.
He finished fourth overall on the day cementing himself firmly in the top five in the club championship race.
This division also saw the pair of Suzuki 450s of Joel Newton and Daniel Lewis.
Newton, having not raced for a few months, came in hot scoring a race one holeshot and first place finish.
Not showing any sign of nerves again in race two, Newton stormed to a strong second place finish showing everyone that he had lost none of his form.
Lewis started the first race a little rusty, and after contact with another bike, he had to fight back into contention.
In race two Lewis had some good pace but could not avoid another bike and had to work back toward the front.
Coen Matthews and Nathan Perrin had two great rides, holding their own and gaining good position.
Newton, who had made the fairytale comeback, was looking forward to a great result in the final moto and Lewis, frustrated by his fortune in the first two races, was out to prove to himself.
When the gates dropped it was the two Suzuki’s of Newton and Lewis duelling into the first corner.
Lewis claimed the hole shot and Newton tucked in front in spectacular fashion, creating a multiple bike pile up that saw Matthews and Perrin catch up with Newton.
Lewis went on to lead most of the race, ending up third at the flags.
Newton had done enough to secure second overall.
Matthews and Perrin both finish in good position.
In the Senior Lites division Nathan Perrin rode in two classes for the day.
This made for a long and tiring day, but it did not stop Perrin, with three races and ninth position every time.
There was brotherly rivalry in the Junior Lites between Ashley and Connor Cooney.
It was Connor’s first time on the 125cc bike and he rode skilfully in round one and two but round three was not as kind.
The third round saw him find some dirt and he crashed but with no bike damages or injuries to still finish the race.
Ashley had a great day in his first time riding his new KTM 250.
He hit the jumps high and fast, keeping him in good position all day to finish fifth in each race.
In the 85’s u14 to u16 division Connor Cooney also had a hard day, competing in two classes.
Connor showed his true champion style on the track, rode hard and fast, placing him with two seconds and a third.
Drew Matthews had not been on his bike too much but this did not show, getting the holeshot in race one and holding good position until the last lap, which saw him crash but recover quickly.
He worked hard to come back to a good finish.
Matthews had a great race for round two and three.
