With the juniors game completed, unfortunately rain appeared and as the courts were too slippery to play on, the rest of the games were transferred to the standby venue at Ulladulla High School.
UDNA would like to thank Mel and her canteen volunteers for the yummy food platters, the barbeque chef, and also umpires, scorers and coaches for their assistance in ensuring that the games were completed.
Also special thanks to Lorraine and Kylie for the hall set up.
Juniors – Sapphires 11, Ambers 10.
Inter A – Bomboras 27, Breakers 12.
Inter B – Whitewash 22, Pipeline 19.
Cadets – Rennies 24, Mollymook 23.
THE Ambers put on a wonderful display of netball on Saturday, showing determination, strength and you never gave up.
Great shooting and passing around the goals Lacey, Rachel and Isabella.
Impressive defending around mid court and nice big arms Hailee and Rebecca.
Fantastic defence and centre court work Julia, Ivy and Cherie.
You should be proud of your netball skills and sportsmanship on Saturday.
What a great end to the netball season for 2014.
Coach Sheree Montgomery.
LAST Saturday was a great day for an Ulladulla netball final.
The game was such a close one that we did not know until the final whistle blew who was going to win.
Megan and Brooke were fantastic in defence and kept the other team’s shooting to a minimum.
They really were exceptional and the team is so thankful to have Brooke back after a serious injury.
Isabelle, who is in her first year of netball, intercepted so well, and played her best game of the season.
Jess Harrison in centre was on the ball all day.
Despite being quite sick she played hard and strong.
Jess Osborne was an excellent attack and helped the team set up well in the circle.
Kristin and Molly played great in the circle and kept the goals flowing throughout the game.
We levelled at the final whistle blow with the excellent shooting and ball skills of Megan.
Lucia Pennisi sadly was injured at a rep carnival midway through the season and we really missed her love for the game and her tenacity.
It was a fabulous, fast and strong game.
Unfortunately the Mollymook team went down by one at the end of extra-time.
Congratulations to Rennies on the win.
It was a fabulous game to watch and you should all be so proud of your efforts today.
Helen Pymble, proud Mollymook coach.
