Mollymook Golf Club is giving one lucky engaged couple the chance to host their dream wedding in the the Win a Dream Wedding Competition.
A first for the Ulladulla area, a wedding prize valued at over $18, 000 will be up for grabs.
The prize includes a five hour wedding reception at Mollymook Golf Club, a beach ceremony on Mollymook Beach, a ceremony and reception decoration package, including the bridal bouquet, groom’s buttonhole and toss bouquet thanks to As a Whisper Weddings and Functions, a two-tier wedding cake from Eileen Scriven Cakes, celebrant marriage ceremony and sand ceremony with celebrant Lynette Shaw, a Cloudface Photography four hour photography package, reception music and MC services for reception, one night’s luxury accommodation at Ultimate Mariners, and a Ford Mustang for two hours of photographs thanks to Mariners Mustang.
Courtney and Trent have been engaged since December 12 2012 and have already booked the Mollymook Golf Club as their reception venue.
However Courtney said when she heard about the competition she thought ‘why not?’
“The fact that the reception is paid for is a big part, and of course the location is wonderful,” she said.
Courtney said planning her wedding turned out to be a lot more expensive than she thought.
“It’s just all those little things. At the end of the day it all just adds up,” she said.
Courtney said if they won the package they would be able to use the saved money to go towards a house.
“It would be nice for us, we haven’t had the greatest year so it will be really special if we won.”
Mollymook Golf Club marketing manager Emma Barber said the competition is open for local and out of area brides.
“It’s a beautiful spot, a fantastic wedding destination. Why wouldn’t you want to get married directly on Mollymook beach?” She said.
“And it’s so easy to enter the competition. You can even enter it from your lounge room.”
Entries opened last Sunday and will close on October 30.
To be in the running fill out the entry form on the Mollymook Golf Club’s Facebook page or on the website www.mollymookgolf.com.au.
The winner will be announced on November 3.
In conjunction with the competition, Mollymook Golf Club will hold a wedding open day on September 21 from 11am to 2pm.
This will give future brides and grooms to be an opportunity to and meet other local suppliers.
Couples can enter the competition at the open day, however attendance is not compulsory to enter.
