Kerrie has earned this accolade for the tireless work she has done over many years in her quiet manner with in the tennis club.
Her many duties have included being coordinator of the junior competition on a Saturday morning since 2003 and coordinating the junior club championships each year.
She has continued this job well after her own children stopped playing tennis.
Kerrie has also been part of the tennis management committee since 2008, been the club’s publicity officer for many years, has tirelessly assisted with the treasurers position, many fundraising events, catering, and in recent years has become a court supervisor for junior and senior tournaments.
She has now progressed to referee status, with her dedication to all her positions having no bounds.
Kerrie’s energy and volunteering efforts that she gives to the tennis club are inspiring.
She has been overheard saying, “I’m the winner when volunteering with all the fun times I’ve had over the many years and many friendships developed from doing so.”
Kerrie is a quiet achiever, with her dedication to always working hard at the club and with the club’s best interests at heart.
She is highly respected not only within the local tennis club but by many others who play tournaments at the tennis centre.
