Saints v SeaSalt 49-77.
SEASALT started the match with some explosive defence and strategic passes to secure the first few baskets.
Saints eventually held SeaSalt out by applying some pressure in the key.
Both teams scored some great three-pointers to open the scoring in the second quarter.
The first five minutes of this quarter was fast paced.
Nathan Turnbull made a huge block and the scores were close at half-time, with SeaSalt leading by three points.
Saints scored two points in the third quarter compared to SeaSalt, which put on 23 points.
Saints were unable to keep up with SeaSalt’s shooting skills.
The last quarter saw SeaSalt put on another 22 points.
Saints were unable to make a comeback but did score 18 points this quarter.
It was a good game played from both teams.

Hawks v Ex-Servos 61-29
HAWKS moved the ball around and made some excellent layups throughout the match.
Ex-Servos tried in defence but Hawks were too strong, winning 61 to 29.

Avengers v Rhinos 68-29
AVENGERS had a fantastic start, putting on 12 points through five different players.
Avengers outscored Rhinos this quarter 20 points to four.
Rhinos tried to make a comeback in the second quarter but Avengers scored another 18 points.
Sean Quinn displayed some nice moves close to the basket.
The momentum stayed with Avengers in the third quarter.
Avengers played solid defense and managed to add another 15 points to their score.
Rhinos managed to score 10 points this quarter with Blake Smith making some lovely shots.
Tristan Crome hit a long three-pointer after a slow start to the last quarter.
Avengers played well as a team and won this match 68-29.

Thunder v Eagles
EAGLES took to the court with four players and they struggled to hold out Thunder’s quick plays in the first quarter.
The second quarter was more evenly matched with Eagles rebounding and defending well to stay in the game.
Thunder lost the ball a few times in the third quarter and Eagles managed to bring themselves within 3 points of the lead.
Eagles took the lead in the last quarter until Thunder hit a three-pointer in the last few seconds of the game to draw.

Mr G’s Devils v Ulladulla Conveyancing 36-27
IT was a closely contested first quarter which saw Devils score only four points, and Conveyancing two points.
Mary Jane Toole played great offense and defense.
Cath Hewitt and Mary Jane scored some excellent baskets in the second quarter.
Both teams were again evenly matched in offense and defence.
Devils put in a great team effort in the third quarter.
Both teams were doing a lot of rebounding in the last quarter and constantly on the attack in offense.
Devils managed to hold Conveyancing out and win 36 to 27.

Deering Street Printers v Beachcombers 32-42
BOTH teams were unlucky with their baskets not sinking and both played great defence.
Solid rebounding from both teams rewarded them with points.
Printers had a one-point lead at the end of the first quarter.
Tania Hettle and Amanda Kissane shot some lovely baskets in the second quarter helping to put Beachcombers ahead by six points.
Printers were unlucky, with their shots just not sinking.
Caitlin Watt scored some great baskets for Printers after half-time.
The game was still close with Printers only behind by six points.
Another great display of shooting from Tania and Amanda helped Beachcombers consolidate their lead and win the game, despite Printers fighting until the last minute.

Wild Ones v TCC Sapphires 43 – 24
BOTH teams came out playing strong offense and defence.
Zoe Isarin scored eight points for Sapphires.
Kelli O’Brien scored four points for Wild Ones and her team helped to put on another 10 points.
Wild Ones dominated the second quarter despite only having four players. Sapphires only scored four points this quarter to Wild Ones’ 10.
Chloe Dadd made lots of intercepts for Wild Ones.
Brea Holland was defending and shooting strongly for Wild Ones.
Sapphires again scored only four points this quarter to Wild Ones’ seven.
Wild Ones spent a lot of time up the Sapphires end but no shots were being sunk.
Wild Ones were rebounding well and Brea Holland scored a basket of an awesome layup.
