The event will see 11 local creatives grace the stage of the Milton Theatre on Thursday, October 8, where they will each present 20 slides along with 20 a second narrative per image.
Festival co-ordinator Julie Sydenham said the presenters would all be specifically talking around their own interpretation of the theme EDGE.
Sadhana Goulston’s Africa on the Edge talk will showcase her latest safari adventure, while Dean Dampney will explore his photography.
K-M Doyle will examine the way she uses the philosophy and psychology of clowning in every aspect of her artistic work and artist Rodney Hayes’ presentation will look at the theme in a contrary way, by exploring art works with no edges.
ARTfest sculptor and 2014 Fast Forward artist Jodhi Doyle follows his journey into metalwork, Diana Lorentz plans to showcase her take on human ingenuity and creativity, while Jenny Blunden, the lead singer from The Escalators, will leave the microphone behind and uncover her own edgy experiences.
Scott Waterhouse, an artist who illustrates and paints motorbikes using oil and soot taken from the bikes, will talk about his fascinating hobby, as will Gavin Hodges who has been taking photo booth photos of himself for 36 years.
Witty wordsmith Kane Morgan is sure to bring a few laughs, while MUDsingers choir leader Tina Broad will outline her latest musical musings from an American gospel singing tour.
The event will follow the popular Milton Gallery Walk and will kick off at exactly 8.20pm, with tickets available online for $10.
There will also be a Tribal Funk Orchestra (TFO) jam and a special drama performance by year 12 Ulladulla High School students Chelsea Sydenham, Tessa Fair and Jessica Boyle.
