Preparations are underway for another monster garage sale to raise funds for the Ulladulla and Burrill Lake homes, which the Yurana volunteers help maintain for seriously ill children and their families to have a holiday, free of charge.
The garage sale will be held from 8am to 11am on Saturday, November 22 at Amber’s House, 25 McKail Street, Ulladulla.
A vast array of items will be on sale at bargain prices including books, crockery, clothes, shoes, handbags, linen, toys, electrical items, fishing rods, tools, heaps of craft items and small furniture, to name a few.
There will also be a range of hardy shrubs and plants.
There will also be a raffle on the day with a choice of a tea set or a bed doll donated by Meryl Collins.
Organisers hope the community will once again sponsor Yurana by attending the garage sale or donating goods to sell.
Anyone with suitable items can drop them off at Amber’s House undercover near the front door any time before November 20.
Organisers to appreciate donations and support. Phone 4455 5613 for collections, but please note volunteers are unable to collect heavy items.
If you would like to know more about Yurana or have some spare time to help in any way, please call 4454 1700 Monday or Thursday mornings between 10am and noon.
