THIS year’s Burrill Lake Gator Classic was held in near perfect conditions, but for the 40 knot north-easterly.

Finding a spot out of the wind was near impossible.

Thinking that it may be a low fish count, it was quite the contrary, with a good amount of fish weighed in.

Attendance was good, with three new faces being Skipper, Ryan Flay and Mal the Ambo.

Sharky also dropped in with a bang and left with a Krusty Demon contract.

New shirts were issued, and greatly appreciated, thanks to our sponsors, Zauner Constructions, PJ Concrete, Phill Binns Builders, Mark Afflick Asbestos Removal, Ulladulla Joinery, B & D Automotive Repairs and De-signtech.

Last year’s record flathead of 885mm was knocked over this year by Jeff King (alas Net boy), measuring in a 925mm flathead, which was photographed and released.
