Work is well underway for the building to be completed before Easter 2015, after the facility was destroyed by fire in October last year.
The State Government provided the unit with two cameras to record rescue operations and the work being carried out by volunteers, both on the ground and in the water, in an effort to lift the profile of the organisation and attract new members.
A budding photographer, Lisa set the GoPro on a time-lapse setting and recorded the steel frame going up.
She attached the camera to a star picket and set the camera set to take a shot every five seconds over about three hours.
