He is six-years-young and a loving, friendly cat.
He enjoys being brushed and sits on your lap - he also doesn’t seem to mind the company of other cats and dogs.
Teiga recently had surgery to remove one of his eyes – but like most animals, who never cease to amaze us, he isn’t fazed at all and is happily getting on with his life.
All he needs now is to find his forever home.
For more information on Teiga, please contact his foster carer, Lynne on 4456 1357.
Last Saturday was the RSPCA Ulladulla branch’s final meeting for the year.
Afterwards members enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch at the Civic Centre Café.
The Christmas raffle was also drawn, so thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and congratulations to the lucky winners.
First prize - Carole from Burrill Lake, who won a beautiful painting.
Second prize - Di Familio from Mollymook.
Third prize - Val Reed, who won a large Chrismas bear.
Fourth prize - Mr Iles, who won a large dog pack .
It has been a busy year for the branch, with over 30 cats/kittens and two dogs being rehomed via volunteer foster carers.
In May we had our “Dogs Day Out” event at Burrill Lake, and each month we hold a fundraising street stall in the main street of Ulladulla.
We donated $4000 to the new dog park at Milton in support of the Milton Ulladulla Dog Training Club.
We look forward to seeing works progress early in the new year and to being an ongoing part of this fantastic community facility.
A further $3000 has been donated to the RSPCA shelter at Nowra to purchase much needed equipment for the animals in care, and over $5000 was allocated over the year to help those in need of financial assistance to desex their pets.
All of these funds have been via the Branch’s fundraising activities and donations by the local community, and we thank you for your generosity. The Ulladulla branch of the RSPCA relies solely on donations and the hard work of a small group of dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers.
From all of us at RSPCA, merry Christmas to you and your fur kids.
We will see you next at our fundraising stall at the Australia Day markets at Mollymook Beach.
