Hundreds are expected to turn out to catch all the thrills and spills of the rodeo in the main arena from 7pm on Friday night.
Organiser jackson Bower said the rodeo was moved to Friday to avoid clashing with similar event on the Saturday night.
“There were two big rodeos on Saturday night in the Lunddeham and Hawkesbury area, so we really had no choice but to change nights to ensure we could attract some good riders,” he said.
“I think people will still come out for a good time, with plenty of action on the cards.
“We’ve had interest from some great riders both locally and out of the area who are looking forward to getting on the Moruya bulls.”
The rodeo will kick off with the junior poddy ride for children aged seven years to under 10 years, followed by the poddy ride for kids aged between 10 and 14 years and the junior steer for keen youngsters aged between 14 and 18 years.
The open steer ride offers $250 prize money for the winner, while the open bull ride winner will take home $500 plus a trophy and buckle.
The Milton Rodeo buckle has been made in America and will be highly sought after.
Jackson said the second place getter would win $350, while third prize was $200.
Good prizemoney always attracts great riders from around the region, which ensures a great night of thrills, spills and entertainment for families.
