Happy anticipation will continue until the end of April when they expect to welcome their seventh great grandchild into the world.
They moved to Ulladulla from Gymea in 1972 and agree “it was one of the best things we have done”.
Counting back before great grandchild number seven arrives, Harry and Joan had four children and eight grandchildren.
Joan told the Times “we very happily reside at Seabreeze Village and that was another good decision”.
On reaching their 60th milestone they were delighted by the customary congratulatory letters from the Queen, the Prime Minister, the Governor General and federal MP for Gilmour, Anne Sudmalis.
