The 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing during World War I will be the focus of memorial services in Ulladulla, Milton and, for the first time, at Kioloa on April 25.
For Australia, the First World War remains the most costly conflict in terms of deaths and casualties, with more than 60,000 soldiers killed and 156,000 wounded, gassed, or taken prisoner.
A Dawn Service will be held at 6am at the freshly completed war memorial at the Ex Servos Club Ulladulla, followed by breakfast for ex-service personnel.
The Milton Anzac March will be held at 10.30 am when ex-service personnel, community and school groups will walk from the intersection of the Princes Highway and Church Street to the cenotaph in Thomas Street, where a service will get underway at 11am..
Residents of the Bawley Point, Kioloa and Termeil district will host an inaugural Anzac Day Service at 11am at the Kioloa Community Centre, followed by a memorial stone unveiling and community barbecue.
