Tickets are on sale this week for the show, which will be performed by students at Ulladulla High School and opens on Friday, June 19.
Students and teachers have been putting together the production since the start of the school year.
“The students have been working on this for two terms now,” said musical director, Simon Grace.
“It is dark and quirky, with lots of really good tunes,” he said.
The performance will involve a cast of more than 25 students plus many behind the scenes helpers.
After opening the band up to the public in their 2013 production, Hairspray, the school has again allowed members of the public to help students by being a part of the orchestra which consists of 12 musicians.
Jacob Woods and Ethan Toghill with Isobel Rabbidge and Malorie Papworth will jointly play the lead roles of Seymour and Audrey, while Caitlin Bonser will play the role of the extra-terrestrial plant.
Ulladulla High is no stranger to show business, but the enthusiastic cast and crew, a blood thirsty puppet plant, and of course a classic romance to boot, has set the production on track to be an Ulladulla classic.
Tickets are on sale from student services and reception, and cost $20 each, or $60 for the whole family.
Half price tickets will be available for seniors and students for the matinee performance on Sunday, June 21.
Last minute tickets will be sold at the door, however the school is advising people to get in early to avoid disappointment.
The show will run from June 19-24 at the school.
