It was the theme of a writing workshop organised by ABC Open producer, Sarah Moss, held at the Ulladulla Library.
Participants were treated to an afternoon of writing hints and tips from Sarah, and advice on how to get their work published, how to stay resilient in the face of controversial internet comment on their work, and how to get their work on the ABC website.
The 500 words challenge is an ongoing project on the ABC Open website, designed to challenge and inspire authors to have their work published.

The literary love will continue tomorrow with the Australian Voices in Print tour visiting Ulladulla library from 1pm, where three best-selling Australian authors, Karen M Davis, Jenn J McLeod and Tricia Stringer, will talk to readers about their careers and books.
