The rugby union game at Batemans Bay was a close one, with the Milton outfit defeated 26-19.
However the Platypi remain the top-ranked South Coast team in the combined South Coast Monaro Rugby Union competition.
The teams from Bungendore, Jindabyne and Crookwell are all locked in a tense battle for top spot on the combined ladder, with just two points separating the three teams on the ladder.
The Platypi sit in fifth position, but still the top ranked South Coast team.
They have a chance to strengthen their position next Saturday when at home to the bottom-placed Bay Red side.
In other results from the weekend the Braidwood Redbacks 14 defeated the Broulee Dolphins 7, the Crookwell Dogs 24 defeated the Jindabyne Bushpigs 21, the Bungendore Mudchooks 82 defeated Boorowa Golds 5, and Taralga and Bay Red both had a bye.
