Eleven students from Ulladulla High School joined five students representing Milton Public School, three from Ulladulla Public, one local student from St John The Evangelist High School, one from Nowra Anglican College and one who is currently attending Jindabyne Central School for the competition held at Perisher.
Many of the students came away with fantastic results in snowboarding events, with all individual and team medal winners making it to the State Championships to be held later this month.
NAC student, Ethan Ford from Manyana, took gold in the snowboard giant slalom (GS) division two, with UHS student Jesse Woods claiming silver in the same event.
Jesse took gold in the snowboard boarder cross (BX), with Ethan in second place.
Tina Taylor, who is living in Jindabyne for the winter, claimed gold in the BX division two and silver in the GS.
Two Ulladulla High teams got up on the podium for the BX.
The division two (year 9-10) boys team with Jesse Wood, Nathan Meredith and Tim Muir achieved second place as did the division three (year 7-8) girls team made up of Shannon Meredith and Eliza Green.
In GS, the division two boys team gained another silver medal for Ulladulla High, while the three other Ulladulla teams just missed out on a podium position with fourth places in division 2 and 3 girls and division three boys.
The GS course is made up of flags that the snowboarder has to go around as quick as possible.
In BX, the aim is also to go as fast as possible but the course consists of rollers and berms which requires different skills.
Ulladulla High School was represented by Olivia Chopping, Chloe Dadd, Shannon Meredith, Eliza Green, Grace Gillies, Mykaela Garrett, Jesse Wood, Nathan Meredith, Tim Muir, Max Boland and Alex Dadd.
Ulladulla Public was represented by Gus Boland, Riley White Brodie Whalan and Axel Lane-Rogers, Milton Public was represented by Lucinda Pakes, Harley and Sam Stewart and Lochlin and Zoe Garrett and St Johns was represented locally by Bella Pakes.
