It was the experience of a lifetime for many of the students.
The theme for 2015 was Beyond the Frame.
The concert featured 3000 public school children from across the state, who performed at the WIN Entertainment Centre over three days.
Students from Milton Public had to travel to Wollongong the day before the performances started for final dress rehearsals, and were required to stay in Wollongong for the duration of the show.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better group of kids,” said the teacher in charge of the group, Ash Howes.
“They were exceptionally well behaved.”
They have been rehearsing at school with Ms Howes for a number of months.
Students were required to learn prescribed dances to perform as part of a large group of students from other schools.
Costumes also had to be made from scratch.
“They supported each other like a team,” Ms Howes said.
“ I think we definitely left a mark on the organisers.”
