Shoalhaven City Council’s natural resources and floodplain manager Isabelle Ghetti said dredging would start in mid to late February 2016.

Sand will be dredged from the upper channel and used to stabilise dunes near the lake entrance and at the Cunjurong Point boat ramp.

Ms Ghetti said council had finalised negotiations with contractors last week.
