Fiona is winging her way north from Melbourne following the last minute cancellation of her Ulladullirious gig in August due to ill health.
The popular Aussie comedian and mother of five said she loved “getting out of the city” and playing to regional audiences that were “just so much more relaxed”.
“I come from a regional area, so visiting places like Milton is much more up my alley,” she said.
“There’s a certain vernacular is regional areas that I love - I feel like I connect better with the audience.”
Fiona said, while her stories were not particularly “spectacular”, she believes she was born to be a story-teller.
“I think there’s a human element to my stories that everyone can relate to,” she said.
