It is already out on DVD and will be released on Netflix and itunes from January 22.
Terminus was filmed in Australia, but is set in America.
It is about the discovery of an extra-terrestrial organism that could contain the secret of life.
The main character, David, must complete his task, which he believes is an otherworldly purpose before the government can stop him and the world destroys itself.
Kendra plays the lead female role of Annabelle Chamberlain in her biggest acting job to date.
The movie is set in America, however was filmed in a Sydney studio and in country NSW.
“It was a lot more emotionally mature than other shows I have done,” said Kendra.
“There were a fair few stunts and scenes in the water,” she said.
She also said she had enjoyed the challenge of the full length movie.
Kendra said she was excited for film to come out, but she said it was hard to watch herself.
“The cinematography in this film is beautiful,” Kendra said.
The actress is now waiting for the reaction to Terminus and for pilot season to kick off before she makes a decision on what to do next.
She will feature in another film that is currently in post production, Blue World Order.
Previously she has spent time in Germany filming a children’s television show and has made guest appearances on shows such as Rescue Special Ops.
Kendra is studying a Bachelor of Arts via distance education.
Back at home for Christmas, Kendra has been enjoying the quieter life of the South Coast.
“I’ve lived in the city and I’ve lived overseas,” Kendra said.
“I appreciate it down here,” she said.
Her parents have supported her acting career and mum, Debra said she was “very proud” of her daughter.
