Once a month, the auxiliary ladies sell home baked treats, knitted and crocheted items and sell raffle tickets from their stall near the traffic lights in Ulladulla.
Auxiliary president Narelle Ober said each stall raises about five or six hundred dollars for the dialysis appeal.
She said the community was very supportive of the auxiliary has helped raise $170,000 that has already been injected into the unit.
The $4.6 million purpose-built dialysis unit and palliative care unit will be constructed at the rear of the Milton-Ulladulla Hospital, with tenders closing this week.
The successful building company is expected to be announced soon.
While manning the street stall on Thursday, Mrs Ober encouraged the community to continue to support the auxiliary’s fundraisers, saying “every cent counts”.
