The Kiama artist will feature in the Club’s Friday Wine Down.
Equipped with a well-worn Maton guitar, loop station and stompbox Brock breathes his own unique style into popular covers from the 60’s to the modern hits. He’s known as a very energetic and colourful performer and is also a talented songwriter.
Brock is a singer songwriter originally from Jervis Bay on the South Coast of NSW. Now residing in Kiama, Brock has made a name for himself as an up and coming artist with amazing potential for future success in the industry.
From the early age of 10 Brock was trained in classical guitar and with natural talent he continued honing his skills in complicated guitar pieces as well as gaining a thorough understanding of rhythm and musical concepts.
In the early years of high school Brock, already considered a versatile guitarist by fellow musicians, left the classical pieces behind to pursue jazz, blues, folk and pop genres with which he began singing along to the guitar.
Unknown to Brock, his music teacher had heard him singing throughout the corridors and secretly signed him up for a vocal audition in the Southern Stars Spectacular.

Brock after much persuading, complied with the audition to be immediately accepted as a featured vocalist in the show which took place at the WIN Entertainment Centre and also aired on WIN Television.
Brock continued as a featured performer in the Southern Stars Spectacular for four years as well as being a vocal soloist in the Regional and South East Region Performing Company which opened up many other avenues including performing for corporate events, training and mentoring younger vocalists throughout NSW.
In more recent years, Brock has been sharing his folk, jazz and pop infused tunes at weddings, functions, parties, café’s, pubs and clubs on the east coast of Australia up as far as North Queensland.
His unique sound and astounding talents have led to many opportunities and exposure on various radio stations, at festivals and other large events.
Known as a very energetic and colourful performer by local producers, Brock was invited by the AMTC to play a leading role- acting and singing in the musical ‘Back to the 80’s’ held at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre in 2010.
Brock’s gigs are known for being upbeat and bubbly, creating an overwhelmingly positive atmosphere in which all present have thoroughly enjoyed.

Brock plays acoustic covers of popular songs from the 60’s through to hits from the modern day influenced by his own personal touch.
His style has been compared to other artists such as John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz and Ed Sheeran.
His amazing understanding of complex rhythms and syncopation is demonstrated in his ability to use the guitar not only for playing tunes but also as a bass drum, a high hat, a snare drum and other interesting percussion sounds .
This rare ability separates Brock from the majority of solo artists and gives a resounding depth and superb quality to his music.
For years, music lovers have continued to enjoy and appreciate the musical delights of his smooth guitar and vocals and have acknowledged the unique talents of this young, up and coming artist.
