Essential Employment and Training engaged people involved with its transition to work program for Ulladulla school leavers.
EET also opened a new community participation room for people with disabilities to learn life skills, including cooking.
“Transition to work participants did all the food preparation, serving and waiting under supervision,” said Essential’s Julie Griffiths.
“There was also a didgeridoo show at the end along with the opportunity to get a makeover.”
Ms Griffiths paid tribute to the generosity and commitment of the Milton Ulladulla Mens Shed.
“They take on about six of our clients each week, their time and help is voluntary, there is no charge, they’re a fantastic help,” Ms Griffiths said.
