Local event organisers and community groups are invited to assess whether together they could hire one externally funded full-time support worker.

The person would provide administrative support to all, help attract sponsorship and grants and handle development applications, licences and permits, said the Business Chamber’s Darren Sparks.
Groups who could use such a service are invited to express interest this week, by June 30.
