The winning Clash, Bang, Trash theme Image of the Month photograph was a triptych from Jane Milojevic. The photo entitled “From Clash to Trash” depicts the all too brief life cycle of a balloon clashing with a very sharp object and exploding and ending up as trash on the floor. 

Judges were impressed by her topical interpretation of the theme.

A new Camera Club member, Rebecca Lodin, scooped the pool by winning the Open Image of the Month section of the competition with her “Monkey on Staircase” photograph.

Members agreed it is one of those rare photos which ensures that the image of the cheeky primate will live on for many years.
