The groups’ members are passionate about their work and are looking forward to showing off some of their creations.
“When I see a piece of fabric and fall in love with it, I have to have it,” said quilter Wendy Moir.
“Everyone has a stash.
“Sometimes that stash takes up a whole room,” she said.
Several members of the Milton groups are also on the event committee and have been working hard to sew the show together.
The Show will feature a huge variety of quilts from children’s themed to photographed faces and quilts are shaping up to be of exceptional quality.
One entrant’s masterpiece won “Best Quilt in Australia” while some of the local quilters have spent years working on the quilt they are entering.
These will all be on display throughout the Show.
It will be held at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club on September 16, 17 and 18 from 10am until 4pm each day.
It will feature workshops, demonstrations and retail outlets for patchwork related items. Entry is $5 and proceeds go to local charities.
