They get together on Fridays for chats and tea, and together they create a plethora of goodies.
The group started more than six years ago when a group of residents decided the common room was not being used enough.
Once each year, the public have the opportunity to have a sneak peak at what the ladies get up to at their annual market stall.
“The aim is to try and raise funds for a local group in need,” said member Yvonne Steain.
Funds from their 2016 market will go to the Milton Ulladulla Hospital Auxiliary and the new renal unit.
This year they will have everything from home grown plants, to jams and sauces to knitted goods.
There will also be a cake stall and a raffle.
“It’s a real little family here,” said member Nola Wallace.
Anna Hunt is the secretary and treasurer of the volunteers at the complex and she said the ladies all have their own special talents.
“We do things over the year to get ready for the spring event,” she said.
“We all have our own hobbies. I make throws and knit.”
“A few ladies are known as the “plant whisperers,” she said.
The market will be held The event is to be held on Saturday, September 10 from 10am-4pm at the Lakeview complex common room area.
The complex is located at 30 Balmoral Road, Burrill Lake.
