The Annandale-based couple paid $645,000 for a two-storey house at Warrain Beach.
Expect a renovation on the three-bedroom house, which was sold by Ray White Callala’s Julie Gauchi.
“Currarong has become a hot spot for Sydneysiders who want a holiday home but also want to offset the purchase with the potential $50,000 to $60,000 return in holiday rental that houses regularly earn if they present well enough online,” said Gauchi.
Currarong’s other celebrity holiday home owner is another inner west local, jazz singer and television presenter Monica Trapaga, who with her husband Simon Williams has owned her waterfront reserve holiday home since 2010.
Reucassel’s fellow members of the satirical Chaser team have all been busy on the Sydney house hunting market in the past year, with Chris Taylor’s $1,615,000 purchase for an 1860s terrace in Balmain the most notable.
