At 9.10am a Harley Davidson motorcycle being ridden by a 51-year-old woman was making a right hand turn from Lake Conjola Entrance Road onto the Princes Highway when it collided with a car.
A Madza 6 sedan was being driven south by a 39-year-old woman and towing a trailer when it has collided with the motorcycle at the intersection.
The motorcycle rider sustained fractured legs, suspected spinal and internal injuries.
She was stabilised by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at the scene before being airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious, but stable condition.
Police investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
