More than 180 competitors basked in a sunny day and calm seas when they took to the water for the Mollymook Ocean Swim on Saturday, April 8.

The 2.2 kilometre main race swim started at the north end and finished in front of the surf club. Followed by a 400 metre dash for cash race.

“Conditions were perfect,” Adam Woodward captain Mollymook Surf Lifesaving Club said.
“There was a north to south swell running.
“There was terrible weather the weekend before that, storms after it and it was just a picture perfect day.

- Open – Jarrod Poort – 22 minutes and 44 seconds
- 19-29 years – Benjamin Freeman – 23 minutes and 2 seconds
- Under 18s – Eskindir Gavel – 23 minutes and 57 seconds
