The awards recognised the creative photographic efforts of club members in the “A” and “B” sections over the past twelve months of monthly competition.
Prizes were presented to winners and place holders of the monthly Club Competition, as well as presenting a few special Committee Awards for Best New Talent, Most Improved and the Encouragement Award.
The Ron Doughton Memorial Trophy was presented to the winner of the President’s Award.
In the A Grade, well-known local photographer Christa Drysdale won both the Open and Theme sections and was rewarded with the coveted Club Championship.
In the B Grade, Barry Tomkinson also won both the Open and Theme sections.
Anna Rosenzweig demonstrated yet again her photographic talents by winning the Image of the Year competition in both sections.
Special Committee Awards were also made to recognise the emerging new talent across the membership of the Club.
Sandy Latham was recognised as the Best New Talent, Daniel Colebrook’s continued improvement was rewarded by receiving the Most Improved Award and Lorraine Robertson’s enthusiasm won her a well-deserved Encouragement Award.
Jan Bryant was awarded the President’s Award and took home the prestigious Ron Doughton Memorial Trophy.

The Camera Club has just released an exciting calendar of events for the 2017-2018 season. These can be seen at their website miltonulladullacc@asn.au.
New members, visitors and photographers of all skill levels are always welcome to attend the meetings, which are held at 6.30pm at the Ulladulla Bowling Club, St Vincent Street, Ulladulla.
The next meeting will be a print competition with the theme of “Two Weeks in the Life of Milton-Ulladulla”.
