Former first grade player and new club coach Aaron Wester is excited to be back both playing and coaching at the club after spending time in the Tasmanian Premier League Competition.
In Tasmania, Aaron played alongside some big names in Australian cricket including Ben Hilfenhaus, George Bailey, Xavier Doherty and Jordan Silk.
“I’m looking forward to doing what I can to make Ulladulla a really great club to play for, especially for our junior players” said Aaron during a recent coaching session.
“Milo cricket is how I got started and it's just awesome.
“I really want to make it a fun environment for the kids and give them the chance to pick up some of the basic skills.”
The program is interactive and engaging for both boys and girls aged 6 to 10, although younger and older kids are welcome to have a go.
The focus is on being active and participating with kids rotating around a series of activities each designed to develop a different skill.
The program runs for 6 weeks on Sunday mornings at Lighthouse Oval from 9am-11am, starting on Sunday, August 20.
The cost is $75 and all participants receive a free kit with shirts, hat and other gear.
