The finalist were unveiled at a special announcement on Monday afternoon; and we suspect orders will soon be rolling in.
The competition is held to test the students skills in making and decorating a cake for a special occasion or person.
Food Technology teacher, Narrell Murdoch said she was proud of the effort and creativity the students have shown.
“The kids have really shown their individual creativity and the works really reflect their personality,” she said.
“There has been a mountain of time and energy placed into the final product.
“I’m very grateful of the support that has been shown at home and the generosity of parents and guardians to let the kids take over the kitchen.
“It’s projects like this that make you proud to be a teacher.”
The winners of the Best Decorated, Most Creative, Principal’s Award and Student’s Choice awards will be announced at the Year 10 assembly on July 18 and in The Times on July 19.
